Standings
The United States Junior Ryder Cup
Team features six boys and six girls who are members of the high school
graduating class of 2011, or younger.
The 2010 Junior Ryder Cup will be
held Sept. 27-28, at Gleneagles Resort in Perthshire, Scotland.
The complete team will be announced
following the 35th Junior PGA Championship, Aug. 2-5, at Sycamore
Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne,
Ind.
Gleneagles Resort will host the 7th
Junior Ryder Cup, Sept. 27-28, and again present an expanded Ryder Cup format
to foursomes, mixed four-ball and singles competition. The matches mark the
fifth formal connection between The PGA of America and Ryder Cup Ltd., which
biennially stage the Ryder Cup.
Members of both the U.S. and European Junior Ryder Cup teams will
compete in a “Friendship Match,” Sept. 30, in conjunction with the 38th Ryder
Cup, which will be conducted Sept. 28 – Oct. 3, at the Celtic Manor Resort near
Newport, Wales.
